Decoding “Midjourney Gratis”: Can You Still Use the King of AI Art for Free?

If you have spent any time scrolling through breathtaking, hyper-realistic AI-generated artwork, chances are you have crossed paths with Midjourney. Renowned for its painterly textures, cinematic lighting, and uncanny ability to turn simple text prompts into masterpieces, it quickly became the gold standard of generative art.

Naturally, budget-conscious creators constantly search for “Midjourney gratis” (the Spanish, German, and Portuguese term for “free Midjourney”) hoping to test out the software without pulling out a credit card.

The landscape of AI trials shifts rapidly, so let’s look at the reality of Midjourney’s pricing, what happened to its free tier, and clever, legal workaround methods to experience its power without breaking the bank.

What Happened to the Midjourney Free Trial?

To understand where things stand, it helps to look back. When Midjourney burst onto the scene, it offered a generous public trial allowing anyone to generate their first handful of images for free right inside Discord.

However, the immense wave of popularity triggered overwhelming server traffic and widespread trial abuse. Consequently, Midjourney suspended its standard web and Discord free trials. Today, the platform operates strictly on a subscription model starting around $10 a month for the basic tier.
